I am looking for feedback also on the trip.I hope you enjoyed I went to Joberg (South Africa)

in 2001 and it was a beautiful experience. I was their on business and also visiting friends.I felt at home as soon as I got off the plane. The food was different and exotic at the same time but I got used to eating fufu with my hands. The people their are full of life. Living in the states I have always had a connection to South Africa before my first visit. This is a country I can see my self raising a family and having a life out there. I would love to say that for Haiti but their is a lack of order and chaos and darkness that consumes this beautiful little Island of Mountains. I am a 2rd generation Haitian American and 3rd generation in my family, and like many Haitian families that came to the U.S to seek freedom from poverty and a healthy lifestyle, One day I will be a refuge from America to live my life of peace, freedom within myself and opportunity. South Africa is a growing nation that no one was really paying attention for a long time besides the Dutch. My love for Africa is far beyond what I can explain in words. I hope Greg, or whoever is going enjoy your time and capture the essense of being in the motherland.

It would be nice to have a haitian community in South Africa maybe I would be apart of that one day.

HI,

i read your message, make me ask why not Mozambique ?

If you come to South Africa you well can have some nice days in Mozambique introducing your culture. I know that you guys dont know how Mozamboican love the type of music is produced by haitians. We love it. We have got a very nice French Cultural centre here in Maputo and trough them you could organize your coming, if not this time maybe in future cases. We are receiving so many singers from all the countries that were French colonies but from Haiti i never heard about. Please dont be like the "Afroamericans"  not all of them but most ,in the states they are africans when they are here in Africa they are 100 americans. Ahahahah i would be Greek.

Please get conected there are a lot of people here looking forward to know more from the antilles.

Take good care

Luis Roque
