I don’t know about you guys, but I have serious problem with Haitian bands and producers taking a perfectly good R& B or hip hop songs and distort into trash. These days a number of konpa groups and Haitian producers are remaking Hip hop hits into konpa.  Not only this sh**t is illegal, but because they don’t have permission to do it, but they often destroy the songs. I believe if you’re going to try to remake classics songs, you should try to make it better then the original.  Often this is not the case when a Haitian producer attempted to remake an American song. If you listen to Dajzz la new cd, this guy by the name of sheddly Abraham just destroy R. Kelly and Mario songs. Well someone needs to tell him that he need to stop this nonsense because it is not helping Haitian music get better.  Haitian thinks that konpa don’t appeal to American because it is in Creole, konpa don’t appeal to other people because Haitian don’t how to market their music to other people.  Look how Reggae, socca and Spanish music are taking off in this country, yet konpa cannot even make to French Antilles. It is a shame

I would to hear what you guys have to say. peace
