Our theme is Haiti Mother of Freedom This dazzling event has become a proud tradition in the Haitian community for 18yrs; this concert continues to draw thousands of revelers each year. This fantastic community festival will take place on Nostrand Avenue, stretching several blocks between Bet: Clarendon Road & Avenue D in Brooklyn from 10:00am to 6:00pm which will feature some of the best Haitian entertainers, including Kompa as well as Rasin (Root Music) Bands and Disjockey. The R & B and Rap segment will feature some of the hottest Hip Hop and R & B groups in the community. In addition, several programs will be on the agenda, among them are: dance contest, prizes as well as rides for children as we celebrate the 204th Commemoration to Haitian Flag Day in Brooklyn on May 20, 2007.
