I agree with you guys. I was forced into opening up a tab at the bar, and was charged for drinks I never ordered. The promoter are cornballs. They charged me and my friend more at the door than others.

I completely agree that Bogarts is a bust. The bouncers are rude,not to completely hate but the atmosphere is not even worth the hype...I meet one of the promoters and he was completely full of himself. Although he believes himself to be very successful at that event,I hope he humbles himself and realizes, that **** is still small fries.With out people supporting it ,its gonna crash. Nonetheless to say, Bogarts will never see my ass again.

It happens to me and my friends as well, and i vow never to return there. Letting that Sh**t get inot their head man, and i think that is why the music and the promoters will never get anywhere. they all want to outsmart people

I share your thought, i had a bad feeling about these guys. I am sorry to hear about your situation, but you should know no single club in the city required credit card to party. If you choose to up a tab that is a diferrent story, but those cannot force u or ur friends to use a credit card. I recently learned that msot of the Haitian crew ( organizers) at Bogarts are crooks. I will be careful giving them my personal in. just a warning for those of you who frequent this program.

Just wanted to share with everyone that the promoters for club Bogart's in Manhattan on Saturday nights are crooks. I and 5 gentle and 4 ladies went to party there for a birthday, upon arriving at the door we were asked for a credit card so they can force you into buying bottles. When we said that would not be an issue we would use cash instead. We were told no entry in the club unless we present a credit card as well we were told that since we did not come with any women entry as well. Mind you we came with four ladies that entered the club (when we went to park the cars). After 45 min of arguing one of went in grab the girls and left. That's when one guy wanted to apologize. But I defintely would recommended no one. As the prompters are only out:ashamed to make money.
