Should a Marine b allowed 2 pursue a music career?

I noticed how "sticky" the topic, "Should US Marines Be Deploy Troops In Haiti?"" in this forum. It's good to know that Us Marines is something that still interests people. So on that note, allow me to bring up another Marines topic: There's a guy from the Marines who just started a music career. His name is Josh Gracin. He was part of that show American Idol season 2 and now he has a country album out. I heard from Universal that Josh is only allowed to leave the base and promote his album only on limited number of days since he's still in the Marines. So my question is, Should Josh be allowed to put his service in the Marines on hold in order to make way for his music career? So what ya'll think?
