For all you that have a negative thoughts and feelings about Djakout Mizik, I apologize that you all feel that way. I am confident that the band will come up with some explanation and then if need be they will apologize to the fans..

  The way you are talking you sound as if you got your information from someone that was there and to be honest with you moun sa remen zin!!!!  First of all the festival was well planned and no Roro from Djakout did not say anything, Pouchon stated "Everyone played for twenty minutes and I only played for ten they asked Djakout to stop playing so we have to go". Did you understand exactly what I just wrote because unlike you I spelled everything correctly.   Because of what you said I personally think that you are a Djakout hater are you trying to start a band? Are you upset that Pouchon did not want to help your band come out.  Yes people did start throwing water bottles but not beer bottles!  Support the bands do not hate on the bands, with what you are saying that is just you spreading rumors!  If Haitians are so low class drop your flag, now your are also upset because Djakout fans were upset that the band they wanted to see and have perform longer did not get the chance to do so.  I do not feel you on trying to disrespect Haitians, do not lie about the event if they did not say it to you in which they did not say it to the crowd then do not repeat  trash.  Djakout bought shame to the festival why because there fans and supporters reallywanted to see and hear them.  Why should they not be allowed in the states? You seemed to be allowed in the states and you have no band and no props. Because of your lies the French no longer wants Djakout to come to there country. You are getting hype that Kassav did not get the chance to play how do you know that they were even there? The promoters were suppose to start the festival at 4 p.m. and it started on 6 p.m. it was suppose to end at 2 a.m. but it ended at 1 a.m., now if Kassav was there Noel and Cecibon (the promoters) were suppose to let the police officers know that they had the park until 2 a.m., so if I were you I would find if Kassav was even there. I said it, understand it and get back to me on it.

I have to somewhat disagree.


yes Most are in it to make money, but not all.


ANOTHER THING


you must understand that planning a festival is a lot of work , therefore like any other job, people should get compensated.


Now don't get me wrong, I am not talking about getting this huge amount of money,  there are also so many volunteers, and although they are that, a little show of gratitude is warranted.


I do therefore somewhat agree.

man o man, haitian always finds a way to mess thing up. what took in place in miami was horrible. i lost all respect for the group djakout mizik, and i think they should  be banned for comign to the states period. I felt sorry for the guys in kassav, and i hope they don't think all haitians are that way.  Haitian music will take big hit au antilles for what took place in miam this weekend

i never believe haitians can stoop that low. the fans were throwingbeer and water batle on the stage. People were acting up. Most of Djakout mizik, particuparly  roro the drum palyer embrase themselve and all haitian  by preventing kassav from playing in the festival. these were talking " allot of nonsense, they were cursing. these guys are a bunch of low class people. I faulth the festival organizers for not forseen thsi coming. they should have been better prepare. i fest new york to really see kassav.


i will never again come to this festival in miami. were anyone there from heritagekonpa. id lo hear your thoughts
