What else could it be. She is just looking for publicity. I still cannot belive Hangout let Georgy go. That has to hurt. ZZin left Georgy cold now Hangout. Poor girl, but she needs to get her act straight
cLEO DO NOT DESERVE THAT KIND OF ATTENTION. SHE IS NO BOBY. SHE HAS NO TALENT OTHER THEN COUCHE AVEK MUSICIAN NAN DJAZZ LA. shE ALWAYS TRY TO STIR UP CONTROVERSY FOR PEOPLE TO TLAK ABOUT HER. SHE DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE MENTIONED IN THE SAME BREATH AS GEORGY.
Are there other motives behind Miss Cleo’s comment comparing her self to James Cardozo of the group TVice?
After my investigative work on the net I came across an interview/article that Georgy gave and it the interviewer question their friendship. I am digging for the link and I will post for you all. This goes to show that how low and dirty a person will go to hurt or bring someone else down.
The fact is James Cardozo Rap in TVice’s songs and when he is on stage he dances and hype up the crowd. Now Miss Cleo on the other hand what is her contribution to the band? Other than the well known fact that this is her second “neg – gason” in the band. Is that her true purpose? Even T-Nes the bands maestro and Rlux the band’s manager in their interviews on kompamagazine.com could not define Cleo’s true purpose in the band, rather pointing fingers.
In her interview Cleo mentioned she was hired as a “backup singer” the question is, Can she hold a note, can she remember a dance routine. Let’s not forget Mariah Carrey was a backup singer to Brenda K. Starr but she had to go through the process build a fan base show some consistency and prove herself talent wise (musically) to get her brake. Frankly Miss. Cleo has yet to do that. We don’t even know what her voice sounds like, at a recent ball I personally spoke to the soundman of Hangout and told him Miss Cleo’s mic was low and that we the audience could not hear her voice.
As good and as soulful Mary J. Blidge artist wise she would never disrespect Aretha Franklyn the way Miss Cleo disrespected Georgy. Because she knows that it is women like Aretha who paved the way for her into the industry. It has been almost 20 years now since Georgy entered the scene and have been paving the way for women in the Haitian Music Industry especially in the “Nouvelle Generation” era.
Personally I don’t know either one of the ladies I am just an avid KOMPA music lover who lives, eat and breaths KOMPA and gives credit where credit is due.
