Thanks very much for sharing. It is quite useful. Today the fashionable shoes such as the Christian louboutin high heels continue to dominate the fashion world. Many women just feel fantastic about the cheap christian louboutin shoes. And when you are choosing for the right high heels, you should first take louboutin shoes into consideration.
I think Tempo is the best thing they could have done. I watch it everyday and night. I think it is the best thing to happen to Bermuda............

I think this could be potential great for Caribbean Music ( providing that Caribbean people will support this movement). We all know what happened with WLIB ( 1190), they were serving the caribbean community for 30 years, but the station was losing money for over 20 year mainly because caribbean business did not support the station. I hope this time the caibbena business community will support TEMPO ( MTV). I also hope taht Haitian could take advantage of this opportunity to launch Haitian music to the rest of the Caribbean and the world. DOes Anyone knows what's Whylcef Role in this?
The Florida Caribbean Student Association is holding their 31st Semi-Annual Conference at the University of Florida this coming Fall, and I would definitely like to get in touch with a Tempo Representative. If anyone knows how I can get in contact with one, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I am a Bahamian Hip Hop Artist working out of South Florida, with a release brewing I was wondering what the opportunities are for new artist, and how would these new artist get in contact with a Tempo Rep?
I spoke to the representative of Tempo after they contact me, and due to my communication with the press, you never know when or where Tempo MTV, will come to a haitian concert once I communicate with them. I will work with Tempo MTV wo make it one of the biggest Caribbean TV stations in the haitian community. We need TV stations like Tempo in the haitian community.
I agree with you 100% man. Tempo is another sorry excuse to exploit and undermine caribbean culture. What i have seen so far is complete sh###t. if they are going to do something, then they must do it rigt. otherwise don't do it at all.
TEMPO IS A POOR EXCUSE FOR A CARIBBEAN CHANNEL! AFTER WATCHING IT FOR A WEEK STRAIGHT THE NOVELTY WORE OFF AND THE CONSTANT REPITITION OF VIDEOS GOT ON MY GADDAM NERVES! IM SICK AND TIRED OF SEEING THAT ONE CONCERT! AND IF THAT b**** COMES ON ONE MORE TIME AND SAYS THAT COLUMBUS LANDED IN HISPANIOLA...IMMA CUT THE b****! BUT BACK TO MY POINT! TEMPO SUCKS! AND WHAT IS UP WITH EMPRESS JANELLE! SHE IS THE MOST IMITATONIST JAMAICAN I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS! HER SHOW IS LIKE A MODERN DAY SHOPPING SHOW! SHE ALWAYS IN SOMEONE STORE AND ON TOP OF THAT IN NEW YORK!!!
I was very happy to know that the Caribbean finally has their own music/culture cable network.
Reggae, Latin, Zouk, Reggaeton & Dancehall has all gotten a lot of publicity compared to Soca. I am from Trinidad and Tobago, the land of the steel pan, calypso and Soca and honestly, it still seem that we are not being featured as much as the other genre's. At least we have a Trinidadian VJ... at least. And why RAP featured on TEMPO. It’s not Caribbean, that’s American music. Reggae probably had some impact on RAP but it really has no place being on a music network dedicated to the Caribbean. Don’t get me wrong, I love RAP, but BET & MTV is already playing RAP non-stop.
MTV TEMPO! Give Caribbean music a chance to bloom and flourish! PLEASE!!!
YES THIS IS FOR REAL! St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands is having a launch on October 27, 2005. They have already chosen the lineup of V.I. Musicians, and as far as I understand, they should be having similar launches in other destinations across the Caribbean.
TEMPO represents a HUGE opportunity for Caribbean Music and Musicians... but not only that! Imagine, Caribbean businesses being able to market their goods and services throughout the Caribbean and the U.S. on network television sponsored by MTV! Imagine the advertising power that this would represent. Imagine having talk shows, reality shows, cooking shows, music videos.... all CARIBBEAN!
This is exactly the opportunity that Caribbean musicians need in order to raise the bar and take their talents to the next level AND have a viable venue for representing internationally!
TEMPO is scheduled to debut in the Caribbean Networks in 2005, and in the U.S. in 2006! My only hope is that it will cater to the many underserved artists of this region who have just as much talent as anyone. The music of the Virgin Islands includes (but not limited to) reggae, calypso, soca, quelbe, caribbean jazz, reggaeton, hip-hop, r/b and combinations of the like.
MAXIMUM RESPECT to Frederick Morton and Jennifer Matarangas-King for the pioneering work they have done and will continue to do to promote Caribbean Music and Culture to the world!
Is this 4 real? that'd be cool. i will look forward to watch tempo. Will Haitian music video be shown on tempo as well. I know usually when they say Caribbean music, this always means Dance hall, socca, and calypso , not Haitian music. Well I guess i will see in october..
