I never liked Kino. However, I'll tell anyone this. If Kino had the backing of any real producer, He would take konpa to a different dimension. He is the only artist from the generation so called new that puts konpa in the most decent clubs of NYC. Although Zin is a much better band than Phantoms ever was, as far as melody and harmony, Kino has presence, charisma. But sorry King, politics and precisely konpa (generally categorized as a dance hall form) don't mix at all. If it was a music that is politically inclined (like racine), peolple would understand. Konpa is for simply pleasure. It is really for peolple who seeks one another as sexual prays. Basically you divided your fans when you take side in politics the people that could never stand the side you sided with simply leave you.
You are still a better entertainer than Alan, all the kino wannabes (djakout, mass konpa etc.) but you need to only do one thing "mizik". I for one never like your group phantoms anyway. there was no effort to the music. Imagine you have a band like (nulook or zenglen) ain't no stopping you.
